Form 668W –Notice Of Wage Levy

The form 668W is a wage levy document that is sent to the employer of the tax payer. This form or notice will be directed towards a particular taxpayer by their social security number. If the tax payer is a business entity then the account identifying number is the Employer Identification Number. According to form 668W, the IRS can levy the wages of a person until the outstanding amount has been paid in full. The wage levy is sent after several attempts have been made by IRS collections to resolve the outstanding tax liability with you.

Receiving the form 668W does not mean that all your wages will be taken by the IRS. You will be left a portion of the wages so that you will have sufficient money to maybe buy a little food and share rent with someone! I don't know anyone who can survive on what's left.
